LONDON--Reuters Holdings PLC (NASDAQ: RTRSY) has been notified that Reuters Analytics Inc., one of its US subsidiaries based in Stamford, Connecticut, is the subject of a grand jury investigation in New York.

The investigation is focused on whether Reuters Analytics improperly obtained access to, and used information from, Bloomberg LP's product.

Reuters is cooperating with the investigation and has engaged external counsel to conduct a thorough internal inquiry. Reuters is unable to comment any further at this stage.
