scientific, healthcare, and media markets, today announced the re-purchase of

480,000 Thomson Reuters PLC ordinary shares on May 9, 2008. The average price

paid was 1581.84 pence per share. The highest price per share paid was 1602

pence and the lowest price per share paid was 1553 pence.

As of May 9, 2008, Thomson Reuters PLC had 192,369,742 ordinary shares

outstanding. The re-purchased shares of Thomson Reuters PLC will be cancelled.
